Rules & Regulations
Legion Royale is an Apex Legends tournament sponsored by Lenovo and organized by Freaks 4U Gaming GmbH.
Everybody who is authorized by Freaks 4U Gaming GmbH to administrate Legion Royale based on its rules and regulations will be called an "admin" in the following, the collection of all admins will be called the "administration".
1.3 Participants and Commitment
1.3.1 Only real persons with a valid Apex Legends account are allowed to participate in the tournament and will be called “participant” in the following.
1.3.2 By participating in Legion Royale participants acknowledge without limitation to comply with the rules and regulations and with the statements and decisions made by the administration. The interpretation of the rules is solely at the discretion of the administration. Admins can overrule the following rules to ensure fair play and integrity. All special cases not covered in the rules require an individual assessment by the administration. Actions can vary from the ones mentioned here, they will always be taken considering proportionality and conformity with the remaining rules.
1.3.3 Every participant acknowledges the right for the administration to modify the rules and regulations for adjustments at any time without notice.
1.3.4 Every participant must show the needed respect towards admins and other participants. Insults and unfair or disrespectful behavior towards anyone are not tolerated and will be punished.
1.3.5 Every participant must always have the newest version of Apex Legends installed and must check for updates in time before each match. Unless a new version comes out right before a match, patching is not a valid reason to delay it.
1.3.6 Every participant must try to win every match they participate in the tournament. Purposefully losing for any reason is strictly forbidden.
1.3.7 Player profiles, that violate community standards are not allowed. This includes vulgar, racist, sexist, antisemitic, homophobe, transphobe or otherwise offensive participants names, pictures or profile descriptions. The administration reserves the right to demand a participant changes or deletes offensive or insulting names, pictures or profile descriptions.

If two participants reach an agreement outside discord both participants must record and confirm it in the correct discord chat. Screenshots of discussions outside the match comments are no valid proof.
Participants declare themselves willing to actively participate. In order to not let other participants needlessly wait, each participant should always be ready at the official match date.
Any direct communication between participants and administration is confidential. Publication of support content is prohibited without express written consent from the administration.
2. Tournament format
Legion Royale is a cup series in four (4) regions, including APAC. In APAC there are two (2) cup days. On each cup day three cups are played. Each cup consists of one lobby. The map in use in the current Ranked League split is used, all settings used are the default settings of a Ranked Leagues match. Teams are ranked based on when they were eliminated in their lobby.
A team must consist of exactly three (3) participants.
The schedule is as follows:
APAC Day 1: 06. November 2020, 8pm SGT (GMT+8)
APAC Day 2: 13. November 2020, 8pm SGT (GMT+8)
The detailed schedule including match times will be communicated to the participants before the respective qualifier starts.
To sign-up for Legion Royale APAC each participant must create or join a team on the tournament website. The team can then sign up for the tournament. Registrations are manually confirmed by the administration which is done at the latest shortly after the registration ends.
The first sixty (60) teams to register will be able to participate and are distributed after registration end into the three (3) lobbies that are to be played over the cup day. Teams who signed up later are encouraged to also be ready at match times to fill in empty slots if a signed-up team does not show up in time.
The official tournament Discord can be found here <link>. At least one player of every team must join the Discord to finalize the registration. If a team has no member on Discord their registration will not be approved.
4. Before the match
The lobby code will be posted on Discord for you and your team to join. Make sure to not share the link beyond the scope of your team.
During the active participation in the tournament at least one player of every team must be available on Discord.
If the lobby is not filled ten (10) minutes after the official starting time the game will be started regardless. Empty slots may be filled up with other members of the Discord.
5. During the match
Bug abuse is strictly forbidden.
The usage of soft- or hardware, that influence the game in any way, is strictly forbidden.
6. Rule violations
Violation of rules or non-observance of the administration’s orders can result in punishment for the player or team. Type and severity of punishment are decided by the administration. Possible punishments include:
* Loss of a match
* Disqualification from the tournament series
* Disqualification from future tournaments
* Prize money reduction
In each Lobby the following prizes can be won.
