Build Your Dream PC for Free in PC Building Simulator

Source: The Irregular Corporation

Released 2019 by the folks at The Irregular Corporation, PC Building Simulator is a great game for avid PC builders who are bummed out about the hardware and PC parts shortage caused by the pandemic.

In this game, you are the ultimate PC builder and run a PC repair workshop that takes care of everything from simple diagnosis and upgrades to creating one-of-a-kind rigs that any gamer would love to own. The game even features real-world parts from manufacturing partners such as AMD, NVIDIA and other big names in the hardware space complete with simulation benchmarking software 3DMark

In total, the game features more than 200 licensed parts and covers things such as custom water cooling, customisable cables, and overclocking. So for those who love to tinker in real life, this will be a dream come true as you can do it for free and without having to worry about costly damages.

From today until October 14, you can get PC Building Simulator’s base game for free from the Epic Games Store. If you happen to find that you need a couple more parts, you can purchase the various DLC packs including an Esports Expansion pack where you create, fix and upgrade rigs for professional Esports players.

The Cult of the Holy Detonation Comes to Wasteland 3

After the Battle of Steeltown, you and your team of fearless Rangers will now have to face off against the “Cult of the Holy Detonation” in inXile Entertainment’s post-apocalyptic RPG, Wasteland 3.

Deep within the Cheyenne Mountain military complex, mutant cults worship an ancient deity they call the Holy Detonation—a nuclear explosion held in stasis. Whether god, science experiment, or accidental miracle, the Detonation's energy could power Colorado Springs for hundreds of years, or level it in an instant. The warring cults have differing opinions on who should be allowed to honour their god and you’re going to have to muscle your way to the altar.

The second and final expansion for Wasteland 3 expands the game by introducing new characters, enemies, challenging combat encounters and powerful new weapons and armours. Your squad of Rangers will be tested like never before in objective-based encounters, putting a creative spin on the already deeply tactical turn-based combat. As you face overwhelming odds, you will need to shut down reactors, clear ventilation systems and engage defensive countermeasures to stem an unending tide of dangerous mutants and machines within the military bunker.

Alongside the release of the expansion, inXile also announced a new bundle - the Colorado Collection - which includes the base game, The Battle of Steeltown and Cult of the Holy Detonation expansions, as well as the Colorado Survival Gear bonus items.

The Colorado Collection bundle is available now for a limited-time launch discount of 30% off on Steam, GOG and the Microsoft Store.

Business Management Detective Game Coffee Noir is Out Now

Source: Doji

Developed by Polish indie developers, Doji, Coffee Noir features a clever blend of classic tycoon mechanics with modern visual novel elements that emulates old school detective movies and American comic books from the era.

Coffee Noir takes place somewhere in Neo-London where you play a detective who has opened up a coffee business and is also quietly investigating the mysterious disappearance of the local coffee magnate. So you are required to multi-task as you will need to take care of your business, negotiate contracts and gain the trust of the industry, so you can pay those in power a visit to make them spill the beans.

In the business management side of the game, you are required to manage your team, handle production, invest in promotion and most importantly, don’t let your coffee business go bankrupt - so you will have to plan your limited resources carefully. For a thorough and realistic business simulation experience, Doji enlisted the help of professional economists and academics to create realistic economics. So part of your task is to take part in negotiations and gain the trust of your business partners to not only win good deals but also gain the essential clues you need to solve the mystery.

Coffee Noir can be purchased on Steam and GOG. If you would like to try the game out first, there is a free demo that you can download from both platforms.
