Get Void Bastards and Yooka-Laylee for Free from the Epic Games Store
Developed by Australian Studio, Blue Manchu, Void Bastards is a sci-fi first-person shooter with roguelite elements that is heavily inspired by System Shock 2 and Bioshock. You play as one of the many rehydrated prisoners aboard a stranded personnel vessel in the dangerous Sargasso Nebula and you have to survive by boarding and salvaging materials from other spaceships.
The interiors of these ships are procedurally generated, which means the layouts, hazards and enemies are always different. So your constantly change your strategy if you plan to survive encounters with these strange and terrible enemies. While death isn’t permanent as there is an endless supply of “rehydrated” prisoners, you will lose all your ammunition, fuel and food. But you do get to keep weapons, gadgets upgrades and objective progress.
If you prefer a game that is less challenging and violent, Team17 and Playtonic Games’ open-world platformer, Yooka-Laylee should be right up your alley. Launched in 2017, this colourful platformer has five huge, beautiful worlds that are inhabited by an unforgettable cast of characters and a horde of shiny collectibles.
You take control of the buddy-duo Yooka and Laylee as they embark on an epic adventure to thwart corporate creep Capital B and his devious scheme to absorb all the world’s books and convert them into pure profit. The game also supports co-op play where a second player controls the Bee-Team, tasked to grab quills and collect and store butterflies for when Yooka and Laylee need a boost. Other than working together, you and three friends can also compete in eight unique local multiplayer arcade games.
Create Your Own Version of Hell in Hell Architect
Developed by Woodland Games and published by Leonardo Interactive, Hell Architect is a dark humoured survival-sim where you have to unleash your creative side when it comes to managing your own version of Hell.
Your task as the architect of Hell is to create new prisons for the lost souls and sinners who have found themselves ‘downstairs.’ Like all good (or bad) big corporations though, Hell is a tightly run ship and under the watchful eye of Lilith from the HR department, so you must devise the most creative ways to squeeze as much suffering as you can from your ‘guests.’ To climb down the corporate ladder, you must gain the approval of the head honcho, Lucifer himself, as they evaluate your hard work as well as your sense of aesthetics and thriftiness.
Throughout your tenure, you will be tasked to design, build and furnish the nine infamous levels of Hell in the single-player campaign, or you can spend an eternity designing your chaotic masterpiece in sandbox mode. All the lost souls who arrive in hell have their own abilities and traits, so it is up to you to put them to work harvesting resources and doing the grunt work while you concentrate on researching new buildings to make sure their stay is as ‘comfortable’ as possible.
Time to Go On a Captivating Journey in Greak: Memories of Azur
Navegante Entertainment’s debut title, Greak: Memories of Azur aims to whisk you away on a captivating journey about resilience as you follow the adventures of siblings Greak, Adara and Raydel.
In Greak: Memories of Azur, you control the three tenacious siblings as they traverse their beautiful and hostile homeland as they flee from the invasion of deadly creatures known as Urlags. To help them survive their journey and solve intricate puzzles, you will have to make use of their unique abilities by simultaneously alternating between them.
Greak is the smaller brother, who is swift and agile. Because of his size, he can fit through small narrow spaces. Adara is the middle sister who is a talented apprentice of the Prya monastery, which makes her skilled in magic. During exploration, she uses her skills for levitation and diving and in combat keeps foes at bay with ranged arcane magic. Last but not least, is their big brother, Raydel. He is one of the best warriors in Azur and excels at offence and defence using his sword and shield. He also has a hookshot to traverse complicated terrain.
The game is brought to life by stunning hand-drawn art combined with expressive and atmospheric music themes specially created to enhance this unique adventure. Both of which are used to help tell the captivating story of family, home and union.

Epic Games Introduces New Fortnite Impostors Mode
The new content train for Fortnite continues to chug along at a steady pace and Epic Games has announced and launched a brand-new mode to the highly popular battle royale game: introducing Fornite Impostors.
Set within the Fortnite universe, players will find themselves maintaining operation as an Agent working for the Imagined Order or sabotaging their way as an Impostor. This new mode is a highly social, high-fidelity mode for a maximum of ten players. Eight Agents must work together to maintain The Bridge, an all-new map, and two Impostors are set out to overtake it.
As an Agent, players will be assigned a variety of Assignments such as repairing the Battle Bus or calibrating llamas. Cooperate, complete them all, then claim victory for IO! Impostors must masquerade and hide their identity at all costs. If required, they can sabotage Agent plans by Disabling Tasks, Teleporting Players, or throwing a Peely Party.
Players can start a Discussion in The Bridge’s centre room. During Discussions, Agents and Impostors can share information with each other via Emotes and a Quick Chat menu. However, the main point of Discussions are to find out who the Impostors are and to vote them out.
