Source: Cyan. Inc. (L) & Stardock (R)

Starting from today until July 22, the Epic Games Store is offering up the sci-fi adventure title, Obduction and real-time strategy game, Offworld Trading Company for free.

Obduction was released in 2017 by Cyan, Inc., the award-winning creators of the classic adventure puzzle games, Myst and Riven. Considered as the spiritual successor to both games, Obduction will transport you to a strange alien world where you will have to explore and solve puzzles to find your way home. But as always, things get complicated and you will uncover a sinister plot throughout the course of your adventure.

As for Offworld Trading Company, this market-based real-time strategy game is unlike traditional RTS games as there are no military units and what you need to win can change at a moment’s notice, because on Mars, there are no rules in the free market. The main goal is for you to become the ultimate cutthroat capitalist, completely buy out the stock of all your rivals and seize control of the entire planet’s economy. If AI opponents aren’t challenging enough, you can compete with up to 7 players on randomly-generated maps.

Glitchpunk Set to Arrive on Steam Early Access on August 11

Developed by Dark Lord and published by Daedalic Entertainment, Glitchpunk is a top-down cyberpunk-themed action game inspired by the likes of old school Grand Theft Auto. It was first revealed in January and is now set to arrive on Steam Early Access on August 11.

Set in a dystopian future, you will shoot, brawl, drive, steal and sneak through a neon-soaked world filled with gangs and cults. But Glitchpunk is more than just about wanton destruction, it also tells a story of transhumanism, xenophobia and religion. You will influence the world around you, make new friends, face off against more enemies than you can count and even convert an enemy’s aversion to affection.

The Early Access version of Glitchpunk will launch with two cities - Outpost Text and New Baltia - with two more cities - Neo Tokyo and Moscow - to be added during the course of the Early Access journey. Each city will feature its own gangs and characters. In total, there will be up to 12 gangs with their own stories, quests and culture and how you choose to befriend or annihilate them will result in several different endings.

Glitchpunk truly takes inspiration from the GTA games as it will feature an in-game radio with music by artists from all over the world and absurd commercials, tons of different vehicles from cars to bikes and trains to tanks. There will also be a massive arsenal of weapons to choose from and up to 10 escalations of wanted levels.

You can add Glitchpunk to your Steam Wishlist by clicking HERE.
