Cult Classic Series No More Heroes is Now Available on Steam

Source: XSEED Games

XSEED Games cult classics, No More Heroes and its sequel, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle were originally released for the Nintendo Wii. Both have also made it onto Nintendo’s latest console and finally, PC gamers will be able to experience what made both games such a hit as it is now available on Steam.

The PC releases have been updated with HD visuals and support for 60FPS, Steam Cloud support and a slew of other PC-specific features, which will undoubtedly make the hack and slash action smoother and more fluid.

In both games, you will play as Travis Touchdown, an assassin in the United Assassins Association (UAA). In the first game, Travis is ranked #11 and with his trusty beam katana, sets off on a mission to defeat the world’s top 10 assassins.

In the sequel, which takes place three years after Travis achieves his goal of becoming #1, he takes it a little too easy and finds himself falling all the way down to rank #51. It won’t be an easy task especially since another assassin, Skelter Helter, has marked Travis for dead as he wants revenge for the death of his brother.

You can purchase No More Heroes & No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle on Steam. To celebrate the release on the platform, both games have a 10% discount until June 15.

Golf Club Wasteland Turns Earth into a Golf Course for the Ultra-Rich

Source: Untold Tales

Untold Tales and Demagog Studio recently announced that their upcoming golf game, Golf Club Wasteland, will be available this August on Steam and the Epic Game Store.

In Golf Club Wasteland, 99% of human life has been wiped out and only the ultra-rich made it to Mars. Earth is now a golf course for this 1%. You play as a lone golfer back on Earth for one last round.

This artistic apocalypse isn’t just all about getting a hole in one though as between putts, you will piece together the fall of humanity at the hands of consumerism, Silicon Valley culture and ecological disasters through the narrative, custom radio show style soundtrack and environmental storytelling.

The game will feature three different modes, Story mode is for players who just want to focus on the story and enjoy a scenic round of golf; Challenge mode is for those looking for an extra challenge and wants to beat each hole under par using skill and by solving puzzles and finally, for the pros, there is Iron Mode, where there’s almost zero room for error.

Golf Club Wasteland will be released on the Epic Games Store and Steam. You can add it to your Steam wishlist now.
