Anno 1800’s Tourist Season DLC is Out Now

Ubisoft has just released the second DLC for the third season of its city-building real-time strategy game, Anno 1800. With the latest content, players are given new buildings, public transportation, a new monument and more that will help turn their city into the next tourist hotspot.

Players’ virtual tourists will now be able to live the life of luxury in new hotels; alongside bars, cafes and restaurants that provide benefits to nearby citizens based on the dishes served based on your cities’ produced goods.

An enormous new monument known as the Iron Tower (based on a real famous landmark) will also be available for tourists to visit. Other than that, tourists can also easily access cultural sites such as museums or zoos using the new bus system

Last but not least, Tourist Season also introduces new production chains for the Chemical Plant and modular Orchards. Both can be configured to introduce different goods, adding another layer of challenge and flexibility.

Released alongside the DLC is a Game Update that allows players to Regrow trees in previously deforested areas, slow down the game’s speed by 50%, introduce updated ground plates for ornaments and more.

Anno 1800 is available on Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store.

Ex-Riot Games Developers Unveil Palia

Ex-Riot Games developers have banded together to form a new studio, Singularity 6 and they recently unveiled their upcoming MMO, Palia.

Palia is a massively multiplayer online community sim set in a high fantasy world that draws inspiration from games like Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon. Instead of wandering the wilderness hunting beasts and going for raids in dungeons, Palia takes a more relaxing route where players take on the form of newly reemerged humans, who have to work together to make a new home.

There will be plenty of things to do in Palia such as fishing, gardening and crafting. The best thing is, all of these activities can be done solo or with other players. Another big feature to the game is the ability to build and decorate your own house and there will be more than 1000 decor items available at launch.

Palia will be entering pre-alpha later this year and you can register to participate via the official website.
