While it isn’t the newest entry to the Fallout or The Elder Scrolls franchise that most fans of Bethesda Softworks have been waiting for, the publisher’s newest title, Deathloop looks like it is set to throw what gamers expect of an action-adventure game into a loop (pun intended).

This action-adventure game which is set to be released on May 21, 2021, is developed by Arkane Studios and has players taking on the role of Colt tasked to eliminate eight targets across the island of Blackreef. So far so action-adventure game plot, right? The twist comes in the form of a time loop that resets the memories of residents of the island, except Colt. Think of the movie, Edge of Tomorrow or the Japanese novel that inspired it, All You Need Is Kill and you will get the idea.
